Remember to Plan a Kid-Friendly Reunion and Keep Everyone Smiling!

A Reunion is a wonderful time to reconnect with your extended family, re-live your favorite high school or college memories, or share stories of your military experiences with the people who became your family. Reunions are fun time for catching up, sharing favorite memories and creating new ones. But, whether it’s a family reunion or one with your friends, it is important to remember that kids may get bored, not know the others well, and need to be entertained.

Reunions should be an exciting an enjoyable (whining-free) experience for everyone, and for this to occur, some focus has to be made on keeping kids happy and having fun!

Beyond just keeping them occupied, kids are the legacy and hold the keys to the future of your traditions. If they do not have a positive experience, and get to know the next generation, your reunions could end and at some point everyone could lose touch. Luckily, kids are fairly easy to please, and a weekend with a few fun activities, lots of delicious food, and games to get to know one another better make all the difference!
